Born in Lima, 1982, Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona (2007). She explores notions related to the landscape and nature in relation to political, poetic and social construction factors, from different resources, investigating the power and possibilities of natural contexts and elements, in order to bring up global questions and reflections.
This year, she was the winner of the Artistic Creation Grant, awarded by Casa de Velazquez in Madrid for Iberoamerican countries. In 2017, she was awarded the CIFO Emerging Artists Grant of the Cisneros Fontanals Foundation, nominated by curator Miguel López. Thanks to this award, she was able do the video installation "Erosion", which was presented as part of the exhibit "No Black, No White (no and)" curated by Eugenio Valdés.
The same year, she was invited by the curator, Gerardo Mosquera, to the LARA 2017 Latin American Roaming Art residence of the Asiaciti Trust in Panama. The result of the residency was the "Confluence" video installation, exhibited at the LARA 2017 exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Panama. During the year 2016, she lived in Bogotá, where the FLORA International Scholarship was granted to her to be part of the Flora School residence, directed José Roca.
Her work has been exhibited nationwide and internationally in individual and collective exhibitions in public and private spaces like museums and galleries such as: Lugar Común (Lima), Ficción Variable (Lima), Atlas 3 Topographies of the Archipelago (Bogotá), Habitar la Frontera in Espacio OTR (Madrid), A New Medium in the Middle, history of peruvian video art (Lima), Video art / Experimental, Lima Film Festival, Video art 01-Reoperning the blackbox of technology Museum of Contemporary Art of Lima, InVideoVideoart Milan festival, among others.
She has been invited to numerous festivals and video shows, such as Proyector 10 Madrid, 6to Festival de Videoarte FIVAC, Camaguey (Cuba), N-Minutes Video Art Festival I 3rd Edition Unit IV (Shangai), Festival de Video Arte REGION O, King Juan Carlos of Spain Center (New York), amongst others.
